Making Zucchini Spaghetti Boats
Creative zucchini recipes can go a long way toward increasing the health and nutrition your body receives from your meals. - Cook A very Large Zucchini Sliced (long way), drain and scoop out the center, place zucchini center into a mixing bowel.
- Cook 1/2 chipped onion with 1/4 tsp garlic, 1 tsp salt and 1lb ground beef (optional) and 16 oz tomato sauce.
- Combine 1 beaten egg, 1 slice of bread (crumbled), 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes, 1 tsp Oregano leaves, 1/2 tsp basil leaves with with cooked zucchini center mixture and cooked tomato sauce, seasoning mixture and ground beef (optional).
- Place zucchini skins (boats) in greased 9 x 13 baking dish, fill zucchini boats with tomato sauce and all zucchini mixed ingredients.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over each boat and Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
